Boat full of Marbles, by James Durkin
James Durkin, a Madison resident since 1976, was in Sales and Marketing for a local Medical Manufacturer. After retirement, he was urged to take up a hobby and his wife Frances, who had been a watercolor artist and participated in the art program offered by the Madison Recreation Center, suggested he take her supplies and give it a try. He has been painting ever since. Now a board member of the Madison Art Society and the Clinton Art Society Jim enjoys the camaraderie and friends he has made in the art community.
