MAS Wednesday Paint Outs 2020 – July and August

This schedule is tentative due to the Covid-19 pandemic and whether we can meet as a group at the above locations. I will do my best to check each location the Monday prior to the Wednesday Paint Out, if we are unable to paint at the scheduled location we will offer an alternative location if possible. It’s best to check the website often for updates.

Right now there are signs along Rt 80 that state groups of 5 or more can’t gather together. We will need to abide by these rules and painters need to be aware of this rule while painting.

Restroom Access: Please be advised that most locations on the schedule have public restrooms or portable toilets however, some may not be open because of the pandemic.

Open Invitation for Artists: The Florence Griswold Museum in Old Lyme and Harkness Memorial State Park in Waterford are both locations we often paint at and are scheduled for the month of June. Both locations are affiliated with the CT Historic Garden Organization and each year the organization hosts An Historic Garden Day, this year the date is scheduled for June 28, 2020.
The organization offers a poster contest for local artists. For more details here’s the link to their website …. (keep the link)

Each year they hold a poster contest for local artists. Here’s some details about the contest and a link to their website:

All paint outs take place in the morning, from 9-12.

Hope to see you there!
