Chatfield Hollow State Park

Description: This park is large and offers: a covered bridge, streams, dams, water wheel, red buildings, large pine trees, roadway goes all around lake, there are portable toilets in various locations. Picnic tables and plenty of shade.
Directions: Chatfield Hollow State Park is located on Rt 80 just about half way between the traffic circles in Killingworth (Rt 81) and Madison (Rt 79).
Coming from Madison on Rt 80 heading towards Killlingworth, there’s a point where you start to descend down hill for a while and at the bottom is Chatfield Hollow on the left.
From Clinton and North towards Saybrook. I-95 to exit 63 (Rt. 81) Head West toward Killingworth. At the traffic circle go around and left heading towards Madison. At the bottom of the hill on the right is Chatfield Hollow. From the traffic circle to the park is a 2 minute drive.
