The Madison Art Society celebrated our exhibiting artists and award winners at the 46th Annual Juried Show Opening Reception and Award Ceremony on August 12th, 2021, at the beautifully renovated E. C. Scranton Memorial Library. The MAS board of directors know how to throw a party, with a festive evening of live acoustic guitar, tasty food, cold beverages, and above all, ORIGINAL ART! This well- attended reception was “standing room only” and is just the beginning of what MAS has in store for the future!
We have already had Five PAINTINGS SOLD and many other inquiries from this beautiful exhibit!
Thank you to the MAS Board of Directors, to the MAS members and thank you to our local merchants for their generous contributions which made our inaugural opening reception a resounding success at the new library!

It with deep sadness that MAS announces that Bill Colrus, a longtime illustrator, cartoonist, graphic designer and member of the MAS Board of Directors, passed away recently. Bill was a talented artist, a wonderful man and a dedicated volunteer, counted on for many years to hang our MAS Exhibitions. We will let you know when a Memorial service for Bill is planned to honor his memory. Condolences go out to his wife Bev and family from the Madison Art Society, who will miss Bill.

Watery Illusions, Bill Colrus
