Announcement of the 44th Annual Art Exhibit and Sale

Welcome to the Madison Art Society website. We launched in January 2019 and the response from members and artists alike has been very positive. Here you will find news of upcoming events, member galleries and exhibits and much more. In this most recent update, is an announcement of the 44th Annual Art Exhibit & Sale. We are especially excited about this juried show because it will be held from July 29 – August 16, 2019 at the Guilford Art Center’s Mill Gallery. It is a beautiful and spacious gallery that offers an opportunity to display artwork in many forms. Receiving is Saturday, July 27 from 9:30 a.m. – 12 Noon. This show will be dedicated to two MAS artists of long standing who sadly passed away last year. They are Sally Spiegel and Shirley Davidson. A sample of their work will be on display at the exhibit.
Below is a painting by MAS artist, Joan McPherson entitled, San Diego, Down Town. Joan won first prize in last year’s exhibit.
