It is with deep regret that MAS announces that longtime MAS member and friend, Don Trownsell, passed away on May 14th. Don was a well- known artist,  a  dedicated friend, and a strong supporter of the arts.   He belonged to most of our shoreline art organizations, including the Madison Art Society.   He joined the MAS board of directors in 2006 and became Vice President  in 2007. He was a primary chair of fund raising for MAS’ Juried Shows and he could always be counted on to support the organization. Don will always hold a place of high regard and friendship within our community.  MAS’ 46th Annual Juried Show  in August and September will be dedicated to Don’s memory.   He will be remembered with great affection.   We send our deepest condolences to Don’s family.
