Summer Events

Saturday June 18th Madison Summer Solstice, 1-7pm. Art Sale and Plein Air Paint Out in downtown Madison, with music, food and fun. We NEED participants and volunteers to display your work, paint plein air and to man the table. Contact us ASAP.
Every Wednesday MAS Plein Air Painters meet at various locations along the shoreline to capture CT’s beauty. Join us at beautiful parks and beaches and enjoy the comradery of MAS artists. See the schedule at www.madisonct.org.

Guilford Expo 2022, July 15-17th -Guilford Art League invites MAS Artists to join the Expo this year. This is a never- before offered opportunity for MAS members to sell artwork in one of the largest Arts and Craft Fairs in New England. Simply join GAL for $20 and pay $50 exhibition fee, this year NO REQUIREMENT to be GAL Elected Artist. A very low cost for BIG exposure. Aug 27th Madison Historical Society 50th Annual Summer Festival of Arts and Antiques, 9- 4pm– Featuring local artists, activities, music, collectibles and food. We hope for many MAS members to join us under a large tent that will be provided. Just bring your racks and artwork.

Monday Sept 12thSept Annual Meeting Mixer, Madison Country Club, , 5-7pm, Join us for a quick meeting and plenty of socializing. Vote in the new MAS Board of Directors. Beverages provided by MAS and please bring an appetizer or dessert to share. Pls contact Cheryl Sorenson or Jeanne O’Brien to RSVP to this event and for interest in being a board member.
