2020 Elected Artists’ Online Exhibition

Dear MAS Artists,

During these challenging times, the Madison Art Society Elected Artist Exhibit will be held online only and can be viewed on the Madison Art Society website, MAS Facebook and MAS Instagram!

Online Exhibit Dates: August 3- September 6, 2020

Online Receiving begins- July 13, 2020

Online Receiving ends- July 31, 2020

Cash Awards:

1st Place – $250

2nd Place – $100 Lenny and Joe’s Award

3rd Place – $50

Eligibility: This virtual exhibit is open to all MAS Elected Artists. To be an Elected Artist you must be accepted into 2 MAS juried shows within a five-year period and with no lapse in membership. 2020 Membership dues must be current.

Entry Requirements:

• Must be a MAS Elected Artist
• 2020 Dues must be current
• 2 pieces of artwork may be submitted.  The fee is $10 for the first entry and $5 for the second. The fee is payable online (preferred) or by check.
• Original works in all media (except photography or computer generated art) will be accepted.
• Work that has been shown in previous MAS Exhibits or done under tutelage may not be submitted.
• Work must be signed, framed and wired for hanging.
• ‘Not for Sale’ works will be accepted.
• Work must be deemed appropriate for all age viewers.
• Sculpture and Mixed media are accepted.
• 10% of any sold art will be donated to the MAS.

Follow these instructions for online submissions:

• Go to madisonartsocietyct.org and select 2020 Elected Artist Exhibit on the homepage.  Click on Submit Entry and complete the submission form and payment.  Or, you can use the “Click for Entry Form” buttons at the top and bottom of this page.

• Submit your high- quality jpg image on the entry form. Do not include the frame in your image. Crop your photo to the edge of the image. Click here for a helpful YouTube video on taking photos of your artwork.

• Make your payment online (preferred method) or mail a check to:
