46th Annual Member Exhibition and Sale

This will be a virtual exhibit on the Madison Art Society website from March 6 to April 16, 2021. 

Online submissions will be accepted February 22 to March 1, 2021.

Award:   The People’s Choice Award is $100.

Eligibility:  MAS member artists who have paid 2021 dues. If you haven’t paid 2021 dues, please pay by clicking here.  Members may enter one piece of artwork.  Please do not enter artwork that will be in any other venue concurrently.

Fees:  There is no entry fee.  A 20% commission will be paid by the artist and mailed to Madison Art Society, P.O. Box 1383, Madison Ct 06443.

Entry Requirements:  Original works in all media (no photography or computer generated art).  No works done under guidance of an instructor are eligible.  Work must be signed, priced and framed with screw eyes and wire attached.  “Gallery wrap” canvas without frame will be accepted with sides painted.   “Not for sale” works will be accepted.  Sculpture and mixed media works will be accepted.  Work cannot have been shown in any previous MAS shows.  Artwork must be appropriate to be seen by young children.  The Madison Art Society reserves the right to remove or decline any submitted work for any reason.

Step By Step Instructions to submit your work online:

1. If you are using your smart phone, lay the painting on the floor in good lighting.  Hold the phone or camera parallel to the work.
2. Select the photo and crop it to the edges.
3. Save your photo to your computer or phone.
4. Go to the madisionartsocietyct.org website and select the 46^th Annual Member Exhibition and Sale.  Fill out an email confirming your submission.
